In an elevated position just over a mile from Lochgoilhead village, Byron Cottage is ideal for solo travellers, couples, artists, nature lovers, and anyone seeking a peaceful break. Tucked away off a private driveway leading to Bowater Cottage, the property is screened by trees and offers views over the head of Loch Goil to Ben Donich. It’s less than a mile to Drimsynie Holiday Village and close to Loch Goil Cruisers and the Boat House Café.

Bring your binoculars—red squirrels are often seen in the garden, and deer frequently wander past on the slope behind the property. The setting is tranquil and green, offering a perfect base to connect with nature and enjoy the surrounding wildlife.

The Property

Byron Cottage is a bright and contemporary 1-bedroom retreat perched on a rocky slope, with hillside garden to the rear and patio seating to the front. Access is via steps with a handrail, so best suited to guests with good mobility.

Inside, you’ll find an open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area with large windows and modern décor throughout. The property is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay including fast fibre Wi-Fi and a 43” FreeSat TV.
