The Location

1 Planetree is a newly renovated (2022) 2-bedroom, semi-detached cottage in a prime position within Lochgoilhead village. With uninterrupted loch and mountain views, it’s just a short walk from The Goil Inn and a network of marked walking trails, including the scenic Duke’s Path.

Tucked near the start of Inverlounin Road, there’s very little passing traffic, making it a peaceful spot. Parking is available directly across from the cottage, and a bench at the front is perfectly placed to take in the views across Loch Goil to Beinn Bheula and the surrounding peaks.

The Property

Compact, contemporary, and cosy, this two-storey holiday home has been refurbished in a clean and stylish layout. It’s ideal for a solo traveller, couple, or small family. The ground floor features an open-plan lounge/kitchen and a modern bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, including a master bedroom with stunning loch views.

Well insulated and centrally heated, plus a wood-burning stove, the property is warm and inviting all year round.

Stylish and snug with loch views and a wood burner – a peaceful base for couples or small families in the heart of the village.
