Lochgoilhead, Cowal & Argyll

The villages of Lochgoilhead and Carrick Castle sit on the shores of the fjord type Loch Goil within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This is considered to be one of the most dramatic and scenic areas in Argyll. Your first visit is memorable as you arrive via the single track road winding it’s way down from the viewpoint of the Rest and be Thankful.

The quiet touring roads of the Cowal peninsula are a real pleasure to explore. Discover the villages, history and nature in this easy to reach part of Scotland.

Don’t miss a thing. For inspiration, check out the EXPLORE THE AREA tab at the top of this website..

Come and enjoy a short break, or better still, come for longer.
